Author Event: Nancy Paddock

Nancy Paddock will be speaking about her Minnesota Book Award winning memoir A Song at Twilight: Of Alzheimer’s and Love on August 16th at 6:30 pm. In her memoir, Paddock shares how she cared for her parents as they struggled with Alzheimer’s disease. Paddock examines the myriad of emotions and decisions she had to make while she strove to let them live in dignity. In her grief, Paddock writes an honest and open story. Nancy Paddock is a Minnesota author and poet. Her book of poetry, Trust the Wild Heart, was a Minnesota Book Award finalist and her fourth poetry collection, Cooking with Pavarotti, was published last year. She lives in Litchfield, Minnesota Books will be available for purchase at the event. This project is made possible by a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library System and is funded in part with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
