  5. St. James - POSTPONED - Ross Sutter and Friends

    April 20, 2020, 2:15 PM - 3:15 PM @ This will be held at the Good Samaritan Campus - Pleasant View building

    Led by singer Ross Sutter this group of four Scandinavian performers from the Twin Cities will present a delightful program of Scandinavian songs, tunes and dances. The performance features Ross Sutter singing and playing guitar, button accordion and dulcimer; Art Bjorngjeld on button accordion and fiddle; Char Bostrom on fiddle and Bruce Bostrom on moon harp and various percussion instruments. All of them appear every summer at the Nisswa-stämman festival in Nisswa, Minnesota and at the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis, at Sons of Norway Lodges across the Midwest, and at Lutefisk suppers and theaters, festivals and stages all over the country and even in Sweden and Norway. This project is made possible by a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative and was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
