Friends of the Library
Meet Our Friends
Friends of the Library groups help support your local libraries by volunteering their time and talents, helping with fundraising, and promoting the library around the community! Our local Friends groups help support a lot of the awesome things we do at the library! Good friends are always needed!

St. James Friends of the Library
St. James Friends meet the second Wednesday of the month at 12 noon in the library meeting room. Library friends help volunteer their time at events, staff the library’s book sale, and assist in fundraising and promoting the library! To join or for more information, stop in at the library. Madelia Friends of the Library
Madelia Friends meetings are held at the Madelia Branch Library and are open to the public. Call the library at (507) 642-3511 to find out dates and times. Madelia Friends of the Library help staff and provide refreshments for events, help with fundraising, assist with publicity, and promote the library in the community.
