Children's Services
Day Care and Foster Care:  The licensing specialist recruits, determines suitable for licensure and conducts home studies and relicense studies for foster homes and day care homes.  Also investigates reports of maltreatment in licensed homes, investigates reports of unlicensed homes and coordinates foster care placements.

Child Protection Reports:  When child protection reports are received, an investigation must be initiated within 24 hours, sooner if the children are in eminent danger.  After the assessment stage, a determination is made.  If social services are needed, the case will be transferred to child protection case management.

Child Protection Case Management:  The ongoing case management in child protection involves working closely with families to coordinate and provide various services and referrals.

Children's Mental Health Case Management:  This program provides information, referrals, client outreach and case management for eligible children with mental health needs.

Family Facilitator:  Early intervention and preventative services for children and their families.  Services are in partnership with the local school districts.

Family Service Provider Program Life Management and Counseling:  This program is an intensive, home-based and family-centered program.  Providers work with families in a variety of ways to help them maintain and/or increase the integrity of the family unit.
