Acquiring a Library Card

Ask for a registration form in English or Spanish at any Watonwan County library. Adults must present photo identification with a current address such as a driver's license or ID card. Adults not owning an ID with a current address may present a photo ID along with business mail with their name and address on it.

The Collection

The library offers books, large-print books, book club bags, magazines, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, Spanish language materials, a multimedia projector, and other audio-visual equipment.

E-books and e-audiobooks are available to download from home computers via OverDrive.

Services

Available for use within the library, the library provides wireless internet, word processing, newspapers, reference materials, CD ROMs, photocopiers, fax, typewriters, a magazine exchange, tax forms, meeting room, proctoring of exams, and VideoEye - a power magnification system.

Reference Questions & Readers Advisory

Library staff will help patrons find specific items and help find answers to meet individuals' information needs. If you require assistance from materials unavailable at our library, staff will borrow materials from other libraries. Ask our staff for help in selecting books, movies, or CDs, or use our reference materials for recommendations.
